Charla Christy, PCC

Charla has been counseling at Denver Counseling & Coaching since 2008 and became executive director in 2019. As a counselor she works with adults, teenagers, couples, and families addressing multiple issues including, but not limited to, marriage, anxiety, depression, identity, and purpose.  Charla’s primary focus in coaching is to support pastors and their staff in the challenges they face in ministry.

Charla has advanced certification in counseling through the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF) through Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia. 

Charla has received coaching certifications from Coachnet Global in 2012 and Coachville in 2017,  and has her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation.   Charla is a Certified Professional Behaviors Analyst and a Certified Professional Motivators Analyst through TTI and utilizes top assessments in her counseling and coaching.  

Prior to becoming a counselor at Denver Counseling & Coaching, Charla worked primarily with children in multiple different capacities, including experience with ABA therapy for children with autism. Charla has one teenage son.

Charla’s goal in both counseling and coaching is to help you fully understand why and how you matter in your life and the world and to help you put that new understanding into practice.
